Rapolano Terme is a beautiful country in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, with its hot springs and spas where there are often no travertine. Already in the Middle Ages was a source of Rapolano travertine to thriving Siena, both for large jobs, such as the facade of the church of Provenzano and the top of the tower del Mangia, which works for more modest, as attested by many tombstones in the old cemetery of Mercy and Siena the Laterino, and the many decorative elements in the architecture of the area.
We currently own two quarries that give a material of high quality and beautiful colors typical of Tuscan travertine.
Since the hard life of the miners and craftsmen stonemasons of the past, up to the current modern processing exported worldwide, travertine, and the use that has been made, they are an integral part of the rich cultural fabric of our country. We are proud of.
